Summary
Gaggia Classic Pro is one of the best espresso machines for beginner and for those on a budget. A great entry-level espresso machine that provides full hands-on barista experience at home.
You can do almost anything you'd like with this machine. You can steam milk for silky beautiful textures and pour a great latte art, as well as make great espresso, too.
A known drawback of this machine is the lack of a PID - but contrary to competition (i.e. Breville Bambino Plus) you can mod it and add a PID!
Recently, a new upgraded version called the Gaggia Classic Evo Pro was released. A major improvement in this version is the out-of-the-box 9-bar-pressure OPV. Previously, you had to modify it by yourself or order an OPV online which meant you had to open the machine up and tinker a little bit.
